I won't delete my old works here, but I will disable the comments. I've also reposted some of my old favs in my new account, since I didn't want to start with an empty one.



The long story:

Changing accounts, big deal huh?

Like I stated in my previous journal, I really need a change artwise...and I think a fresh start would do me good. Changing DA accounts supports this thought and hopefully it will motivate me to try new things. It's not like my ability to draw is dependent on Deviantart though, but I spend a huge amount of time here, anyway...so it does have some effect on me.

Reading the journal+the replies in =meronine's old account (here: [link])actually helped me a lot with this decision. All the pros and cons are discussed there already.

I realize that there are people who probably won't follow me to my new account and I will lose watchers.
But, changing accounts is kind of a way to prove myself that I don't need those pageviews, favourites or Daily Deviations and I am able to let go of old things.
Besides, if you really want to keep watching me, it's not asked too much to click a couple clicks to watch my new account, is it?

The only thing that bugs me is that I have a Premium Print account that won't expire EVER but...let's be honest, who buys my stuff anyway? XD There are so many better print artists out there.

Oh, and one final reason why I wanted to leave this account: I've started to hate my username x'D Besides, kajoi matches with my LJ username and my internet aliases everywhere BD

I might not start drawing amazing new stuff right away and I may keep drawing the same stuff as I always do for some time...but real, lasting changes take time.
This is a start.
